YEAR 8 Stem trip

Year 8 students recently attended a STEM Project Day held at the CEME campus in Rainham. Run by the Smallpiece trust, the students had the opportunity to design, build, and present a functional design for a wind turbine. At the end, each group presented their ideas which were judged by a panel of three staff for the chance to earn a small prize.

The trip improved their skills in Science, Design and Technology, teamwork, and giving a presentation.
