Y8 Rounders

Year 8 had their first match of the season against Sacred Heart. It was a very competitive game, with some fantastic batting from Chika, Chloe, Meda , Millie, and Holly that allowed them to score several rounders. We also fielded well, with Caitlin, Penny, Jess, Meda, Chloe, Chika, Millie, Theodora, Daisy and Holly working as a team to get the opposition out and to prevent the other team from getting a big lead.

For most of the game we were winning but Sacred Heart just caught us up at the end. The final score was Gaynes 8.5 – Sacred Heart 9.
