Gaynes Harvest Festival – October 2022 Food bank collection
BackIn order to raise awareness of relative poverty in the UK, at Gaynes School we have been working really hard to collect food donations for the Collier Row and Romford Food bank.
Through posters and presenting to their peers, a team of KS3 leaders took on the responsibility of raising the profile of the issue, in celebration of Harvest Festival.
Please see below the list of items that can be collected:
- Cereal
- Soup
- Pasta
- Rice
- Tinned tomatoes/ pasta sauce
- Lentils, beans and pulses
- Tinned meat
- Tinned vegetables
- Tea/coffee
- Tinned fruit
- Biscuits
- UHT milk
- Fruit juice
- Sanitary products
All collections are ongoing with the deadline Friday 21st October. Our KS3 leaders will then deliver all in the next half term. From everyone at Gaynes School, we would like to thank you all for your continued support.
