Year 10 First aid training

Basic First Aid lifesaving skills and knowledge of CPR are now part of the statutory health curriculum.
In order to give all of our year 10's the very best up to date knowledge, we invited a registered St John's Ambulance First Aid trainer in to school to deliver a training session with our pupils. One pupil, CF, said she was impressed with the amount of knowledge, information and practical skills she was able to pick up during the morning session. As you can see from the photos, the pupils enjoyed learning the vital life-saving skills of CPR and use of a defibrillator.
