CHARITY DAY FOR TEENAGED CANCER TRUST

On Wednesday 8th May 2024, Gaynes School held a charity day in aid of the Teenage Cancer Trust. A group of year 8 students took the lead in planning, co-ordinating and facilitating the events, as well as voting on which charity they wanted to help raise funds for. Activities included coming into school early to make pancakes to sell to other students for breakfast, a bake-sale, a 'silliest ties and socks' event and a guess how many sweets are in the jar competition. In total, £185 was raised for Teenage Cancer Trust. We would like to say a massive thank you to all those who donated and a special thank you to those students who took the lead in planning the event.
