JACK PETCHEY AWARDS CEREMONY
BackOn Thursday 9th May, a number of our students attended the Havering Schools awards for the Jack Petchey Awards Ceremony at the Queens Theatre in Hornchurch. The awards are given for exceptional progress or contribution in a school subject or to the community. Headteacher Mrs Kirkpatrick and her two deputy headteachers Miss Guthrie and Mr Turner-Monk attended the ceremony to support our wonderful award winners as they were presented with their awards by the deputy Mayor of Havering, Councillor Patricia Brown and the Assistant Director of Education in Havering, Trevor Cook.
Award winner this year were Tyler, Lelaini, Beatrice, Austin, Alisha-Louise, Mollie and Jayden.
The leadership award, given to a member of staff who has made the greatest contribution to the school community, was won by our attendance and admissions officer, Mrs Curtis.
