Y9 Game vs Sanders 

In the first game of the season Gaynes won the toss and elected to field first. Sanders opener put on a good display scoring an impressive 43 not out. Wickets fell at regular intervals with some brilliant bowling and fielding. The wickets went to Aiden M (2) and Donald K (3). This in all reduced Sanders to 84 for 5 after their permitted overs. 

Gaynes went in to bat and started slowly losing a few early wickets. As the innings went on the runs started to come more regularly off the bat and in extras. The final over we required 13 to win, however we fell short by 2 runs - ultimately losing the game by a single run. A great effort all round and a game played in fantastic spirit 

Y9 Game vs Royal Lib 

Gaynes won the toss and elected to bat first. A fast start to the innings from Charlie F (25 not out) got us off to a flying start, with boundaries and runs coming in regular intervals we managed to get to 84 for 5 at the turn of innings . 

As we took the field runs were hard to come by for Royal Lib, with some fantstic bowling which took wickets but also was disciplined and hard to hit. Stand out bowlers were Aiden M (2) and Charlie F (2). A special mention to Michael B who was very good as wicket keeper in his first game. Gayens won the game by 10 runs, a great all round display.
