School Production of Matilda

The school production of the musical Matilda, performed by students from Years 7-10, was a resounding success, showcasing impressive talent and dedication from the young performers. 

Both performances were totally sold out. The students brought to life the beloved story with vibrant energy, seamless choreography, and powerful vocal performances, capturing the audience's attention from start to finish. The intricate set designs, thoughtful costumes, and the dynamic performances contributed to a captivating theatrical experience that left the audience feeling inspired and entertained. The production not only demonstrated the students’ creativity and hard work but also had a positive cultural impact by fostering a sense of community and artistic expression within the school. It encouraged a deeper appreciation for the performing arts and gave students an opportunity to shine, helping to build confidence and collaboration among peers.  Thank you to Mrs Croft who produced and directed the show, Mr Adair who was the musical director and to all of the other staff who helped out backstage and front of house.
