Gaynes In The Month Of September 2024
BackWithin the month of September our students took part in the following activities:
- Year 8 & 9 Students went to see Matilda at Cambridge Theatre, London
- Year 7’s went to Stubbers Activity Centre, Upminster
- Year 11 Parents had an information evening
- Our Safer schools officer delivered an assembly to our Year 7 students
- Gaynes welcomed Year 6 students visiting for our Open Evening
- Year 8 Sport Leaders went to Stubbers
- Our student council was elected with Year 10 Student Council Leaders
- Year 11’s had Career and Post 16 guidance talks
- Interform competitions commenced
EXTRA CURRICULAR CLUBS
September also saw the start of our Extra Curricular Clubs in school. Students had the opportunity to take part in the following clubs
- Geography
- French
- English
- Food/DT
- Art and Music
Our PE Department also ran clubs throughout the week for
- Basketball
- Football
- Table Tennis and
- Rugby
