Year 10 - First aid training
BackMichelle Twine, from First Link First Aid Services, delivered a First Aid workshop to all our year 10 pupils to refresh their knowledge and to raise awareness of First Aid.
Training on CPR, use of defibrillators, choking and catastrophic bleeding was given. As you can see from the attached photos, the pupils enjoyed the learning while working interactively with "Annie" dolls to practice CPR and defibrillator machines. Pupils reported being more confident to be able to respond to an emergency after this session. All pupils received a certificate to add to their personal records of achievement.
